Welcome to First Covenant Church! Our church is a place where we seek to grow deeper in Christ and live out our faith in community with one another. We believe strongly that the message of Christ is one that both transforms lives and transforms societies. Because of this, our church is committed to both strengthening individual relationships with Christ as well as striving for justice, compassion, and peace in our society through social action. We have many opportunities for you and your family to come andget involved.
On Sunday morning, we have two different services to choose from. The first service is from 9:00-10:00 and FreeSongbegins at 10:30. During the first service we have a Sunday school class for adults, and during FreeSong we have Sunday school for both adults and a program called PromiseLand for the kids. We also have Wednesday night ministries as well. For adults, we have theAlpha program where those wanting to learn more about faith can come together, eat great food, and askany questions inan honest and open environment. For children pre-school and younger we have a well-staffed nursery where they have a safe place to play and explore. ForchildrenK-5th grade we have Kamp Kidd, a fun-filled night of puppetry, music, games, and crafts all designed to help childrenlearn more abouttheBible and Jesus in practical ways. For the 6th-8th grade we have The Zone, aplace designed for middleschool students to comeand have fun and learn about how faith in Jesus can help them navigate this time of transition. Each of theseprogramsare from 6:00-8:00 p.m.each Wednesday.
Finally, our high schoolersmeet on Sunday nights for SPAM. SPAM not only teaches high school students about Christ and living out their faith, but also includes fun activities such as skiing trips, bowling excursions, and other exciting opportunities such as a recent missions trip to Juarez, Mexico (pictures can be seen in the "photo album" section!).
