Words and Deeds

evangelism.jpgFor the last five weeks, we have been learning more and more about what it means to be light and salt and a transformative agent in our community.  We have learned that through serving we gain the right to have a voice in people's lives.  We've also learned that God has a special place in his heart for the least of these, and through serving these people, it may actually be us who are being ministered to.

But what happens when they finally ask us why we are doing this?  When we've finally earned the right to be heard, do we sometimes lose our voice?  So, while serving shouldn't be some ulterior motive in which we only do it to share Jesus with them, there will come a time when they ask us about the hope we have.

This week, Pastor Tammy will be discussing how we can communicate the love of Christ through words after we have done the same through deeds.  Come and learn how to share the transforming love of Christ.
