FreeSong
FreeSong is an exciting new service of the church that began Sunday February 25th at 11:00 a.m. FreeSong is a place where anyone can come as they are to worship Jesus as they see fit. They are, just as the title suggests, free. Free to worship in any form, free to wear jeans, free to bring coffee into the sanctuary, free to disagree, free to wear white after labor day, and free to be who they were created to be.
FreeSong is a more upbeat and casual in nature and includes great music, an applicable message to your life, and a safe environment in which you can wrestle with your faith.
FreeSong is also committed to living out the message of the cross by not only stressing a vertical relationship with Christ (which is essential) but also a horizontal commitment to our neighbors through social action. For starters, fair trade coffee is served prior to the service. We also have opportunities to live out our faith through missions projects, letter-writing, and other hands-on experiences that helps us love our neighbors as we were commanded to by Jesus. So feel free to come and worship as you are.
