Mary Pinley is a co-associate pastor of Youth and Family at First Covenant Church, along with her husband Craig. A native of Northern California, Mary spent much of her childhood in Penang, Malaysia, the daughter of parents who served as missionary teachers with the Christian and Missionary Alliance. She earned her undergraduate degree at North Park University and went to the school's seminary and earned a Masters of Christian Education degree in 2001. Shortly before she and Craig married in November 2001, Mary began work for the Evangelical Covenant Church's Department of Christian Formation, serving as a project coordinator. She is also the proud mother of her first daughter, Caroline Elise (Ellie) Pinley, who was welcomed into the Pinley home in September of 2006!
She had previously served two years as a short-term missionary for the denomination in Colombia and had worked in accounting in California for many years. She enjoys singing, scrapbooking, quilting, good coffee and decorating when she's not organizing youth and children's ministry programming at First Covenant.
